About Me
I’m Alejandra Crippa, founder of Element Gres, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My journey began in the worlds of interior decoration and architecture, where I nurtured a deep appreciation for design, balance, and space. Over time, my need for hands-on creation led me from crafting Tiffany lamps to discovering my true medium: clay.
Working with ceramics is a return to my essence. It allows me to explore organic forms and tactile surfaces that echo the rhythms of the natural world. The ocean, raw textures, bones and the earth itself are constant sources of inspiration.
My creations embody a minimalist, earthy wabi-sabi aesthetic—celebrating the beauty of imperfection, simplicity, and silence. Each piece I make is a meditation in form, a quiet dialogue between the material and the hand.
